Digital University Kerala along with KSAAC hosted a one-week short course on cyber security for the final year computer engineering students of Govt Polytechnic College, Neyyattinkara. There were 60 students who actively participated in the course.The sessions were conducted on DUK campus, during November 14 -18, 2022.The certificate of participation was awarded to all students and the course was conducted under CSR activities of the DUK.

There were 11 hearing impaired students who actively participated in the course.The sessions were conducted on IIITMK campus at Technopark Phase I, during November 7 -11, 2022.The sessions where handled with the support of translator.The certificate of participation was awarded to all students and the course was conducted under CSR activities of the DUK.
Digital University Kerala hosted the first CTF challenge (DUK CTF 1.0) on October 30, 2022 for the first year students of the DUK. A total of 66 students actively participated in the contest. There were 30 challenges designed from 11 different categories with a total of 1600 points.The total prize pool was Rs 6000/-
The CTF challenge was designed and developed by the team KSAAC along with semester III students of the DUK.

A one-week short course on cyber security for the final year computer engineering students of Govt Polytechnic College, Pala ,Kottayam was conducted by Digital University Kerala along with KSAAC. There were 59 students who actively participated in the course. The sessions were conducted on IIITMK campus during October 10-14, 2022.The certificate of participation was awarded to all participants and the course was conducted under CSR activities of the DUK.
Digital University Kerala along with KSAAC hosted a one-week short course on cyber security for the final year computer engineering students of Govt Polytechnic College, Attingal. There were 55 students who actively participated in the course. The sessions were conducted on DUK campus during September 26-30, 2022.The certificate of participation was awarded to all students who actively participated in all sessions and completed the assessment process.The course was conducted under CSR activities of the DUK.
A cyber security training was organized by KSAAC at Digital university campus on cyber hygiene practices. It was a five-day course. There were 64 students from Government polytechnic college Kaimanam Thiruvananthapuram who actively participated in the training sessions. The sessions were conducted in an interactive environment and the participants acquired fundamental understanding of cyber security such as malware attacks, phishing scams, social engineering, ethical hacking, digital forensics, security auditing. A special session on placement opportunities was also discussed. More importantly, the skills learnt from the session will help the students to take necessary steps to mitigate their security challenges. The course was conducted under CSR activities of the DUK.
Two Days National Webinar on " Cyber Security & Cyber Crimes" was held under the auspices of the Knowledge Center & Kerala Security Audit and Assurance Center (KSAAC) of Digital University Kerala from 4th to 5th of July 2022 during 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on both the days.Importance of Cyber Security and Digital Signature,Social Media Security, Password Security and Secure Browsing,Cyber Crime and Punishment, Career in Cyber Security etc were the topics for discussion.More than 75 participants was there.
A study tour was conducted to learn about the KSAAC infractures ,procedures of auditing and activities going on by PGDeG students of Kerala Digital University,(DUK) on 19th August 2022 at Kabani building Technopark phase 4 ,Pallipuram.
